I'm confused - as the % difference dont seem to calculate so how do they do it

latest race example - surely a 25% uplift = 3.0 not 2.84, any clues ...

02:56 Mountaineer Casino Racetrack & Resort (US)     Industry SP     Betfair SP
1st     Circus Game     2.4     2.84
2nd     Velvet Halo     14.9     15
3rd     Patch O'gold     31     18.01
Winner SP Advantage: 25%
Ran: 7
Non Runners: None

cheers elise, I looked at that as was trying to answer OP ?

but that doesnt really explain the % difference and more I looked at it - I cant see how the % is calculated

In response to the OP, yes, 5% commission is factored in to the percentage figure when BSP is compared to ISP.

Deltâ

In your example the 25% figure has been rounded up,it's actually 24.86%.

Just plug the BSP and ISP figures, 2.84 and 2.4 in to a spreadsheet in cells A1 and A2 respectively.

In cell A3 copy and paste the formula below...

=(((A2-1)*0.95)-(B2-1))/(B2-1)

Sorry, should have mentioned....

Format cell A3 for 'Percent', two decimal places.
