No idea why they thought it wouldn't stay, absolutely everything said it would stay. So called racing Experts are a complete joke. Elm Park was the one that definitely wouldn't stay, and they chose to ride that from the front which was ridiculous.

I am an expert and was confident he wouldn't stay but am delighted to be proved wrong. Good performance.

My concerns were allayed when they interviewed the guy from the Stud and he was adamant that stamina wasn't an issue.Mind you I got a bit worried after the first furlong when the horse was wasting energy by refusing to settle.

Forget the breeding. What is his slow twitch to fast twitch muscle ratio?

Nobody ever really knows if they will stay unless they turn up on the day and try, which the owner here paid the supplementary fee to find out the answer.

You only ever get the chance to run your particular horse in The Derby once and then can make future plans on the outcome, which is why I still think they should have run Frankel in The Derby too.

Yes Ima. In fact in tonight's Belmont it is very likely that it will be the one and only time the winner ever run a mile and a half in its life.
