Beautiful ride to settle it, then eased into the rail when in front. 10/10.
Report themover June 6, 2015 4:38 PM BST
Big Daddy would have won on that

Superb confident ride on what looks like a good Derby winner.

Glad an undefeated horse wins the Derby.

Big Daddy wouldn't have sat off the pace and acquired a clear runway, the form horse, the jolly and Frankie not overly celebrating just savouring the moment.

It was a very good ride by Frankie but they totally played into his hands by going so quick. he was always going to be in the 2nd half of the field and his biggest task for the first half of the race was to get the horse settled. The fast pace made it much easier to do that. Glad that Golden Horn won as it was the only horse in the race that could be a very good derby winner.

He is a complicated character. I found this (Guardian) quote revealing:  "My wife says I’ve got bipolar because sometimes I’m happy, sometimes I’m not, and I’ve got the concentration span of the flea. She’s got a point – I’m often up and down."

I can understand him nauseating/annoying some but I don't think its put on. I am just happy for him.

Frankie Fraser is gone. Mad Frankie Dettori lives on. He was totally OTT after the race. Who was jockey looking at him in amazement as he bounced up and down on the scales? Thank God that Moore and Espinoza don't behave that way.
His house is up for sale and someone told me that his marriage is in difficulties and no sign of Elizabeth there yesterday.
Report Rydal June 7, 2015 12:32 PM BST
Elizabeth who?
Report Dr Crippen June 7, 2015 2:45 PM BST
It must be really difficult to steer home the best horse in the race.

That's the hard part, getting to be on the best horse in the race.

That's what made Piggott so good in the big races not his riding. He'd usually done his best work before the race had begun.

tc would have had problems getting that one beaten
