For once I deserted my favourite trainer. The overweight and inexperienced rider round Epsom put me off. I do remember one of Andrew's great days when Passing Glance won that same race, Casual Glance won the Oaks and Rimrod won the Diomed. He loves that course and I hope he wins the Derby.

just goes to show experience counts for fook all at Epsom

Not sure that history backs that up. It is generally considered to be the hardest course to ride well.
