Met Office says 80% chance of rain at 11am on Friday.

If anyone lives near Epsom, could you update us with what you see through the window, from now until Derby time?
Rain will decide who wins.

I agree, could really do with a local report to see if the forecast heavy rain arrives.
Thanks

Clerk of the course Andrew Cooper says: "It's really only one area that I'd  call good to soft, and that.s the lower part of the hill, from the five fur;long pole on the round course into the straight, otherwise it's good.
"The 3mm of rain that we've had thus far could be it. There are possibly bits and pieces of rain from the West, but the bulk of it has passed through. The GoingStick reading at 9.30 was 7.0. It was 7.3 yesterday afternoon, and the difference is about what you would expect after 3mm."

I was in the enclosure on Tattenham Corner today, I would say the Clerk of the course was spot on, there was quite a lot of cut in the ground from 5F round TC there was quite a lot of turf being thrown up as the horses came round. Other than that, from what I could see I would say the going was good. Its been quite windy here today too so would not be surprised to see it dry out even more and quicken up.
