I backed Jack Hobbs after the "disappointing" dante performance.  After seeing his prep at Epsom at the Breakfast of stars, I doubled up.   Impossible to be out of the place, most likely winner.

he did look to be motoring down the straight at that bwts alright Swaedean.

if jack hobbs did any less against that plodder in a gallop ud be worried

I won't be backing either of the Gosden pair JM but if the Dante isn't the form race I don't know what is. Chester Vase?

Not sure Mikael. What I was trying to say is that I think there's too much emphasis that the winner has to come from the Dante and with question marks particularly about GH's stamina there are plenty of other group-performing stoutly-bred candidates elsewhere.

See it all before, every horse in the race has a stamina doubt or a speed doubt. Back with what you have seen so far and stop guessing if a particular horse is going to stay. Plenty of Derby winners had pre race stamina doubts 80% of the field have never raced over this far!

Whether or not you think they'll win/stay is one thing.

But the form of the Dante is 10 pounds stronger than anything else out there FFS - and that's looking at it objectively.
