it's a bit like when Betfair crashes in the football season at 3pm on any Saturday,
if other people kept off the site, it would run superbly just like the live video when no-one is using it ![]() |

What speed setting do you watch the race on live video ray?
If it is 0.5 try upping it to the 1 setting. Normally, you will only lose a split second (very minimal) but the video should run smoother. hth |

its the same on the purple as well - and its generally only RUK.

It works far better on firefox than chrome here.

Presumably - More people requesting the stream DURING the race - thus putting extra request pressure on the service - Many will close out after the race is finished, so it then runs smoother, due to fewer requests for the stream.
Bit like a very low-grade Denial of Service attack. |

Never used to happen for RUK tracks on LV.

I am most thankful to all of you who have offered advice/experience/opinion. To summarise from what I can see this is a problem without resolution. Perhaps this one should be bounced back to betfair. We effectively have to place a bet to get this service, but the service provided is not really adequate, so please betfair from all your many millions made from us poor punters could you do something about it... PLEASE at least let us watch our money dissapear with dignity!

I find the latest IE pics actually half a second in front of Chrome pics.
Will now give Firefox a speed tryout. The higher spec your laptop, the better the pic and sound. What is your Windows User Experience index? |
|
By:
My User Experience index is 5.7 but on my low-spec laptop the pic constantly gets interrupted, suggesting workload handling pic and sound is too much for the poor machine.
