The father of an Irish man who died while travelling in Argentina has paid tribute to his beloved son after he died from suspected carbon monoxide poisoning.
The body of 30-year-old Christopher Morris was found along with that of his roommate in their apartment in Las Heras, Mendoza late on Monday.
The other victim was named as Munra Borghi, a 37-year-old Argentinian.
Christopher's father Michael 'Mouse' Morris, a well known horse trainer, paid tribute to his deceased son today.
Michael said: “He was doing what he was happy doing, travelling the world and seeing different places.
“It’s awful news and everybody is being very good and giving us support.
“Christopher had been in Argentina around two months but he had no intention of coming home yet, he was having a ball of a time.

Christopher's brother Jamie paid an eloquent tribute to his beloved brother on Facebook: "It is with unimaginable sadness that I have to inform you of the passing away of my beloved brother and best friend.
"He died peacefully due to carbon monoxide poisoning in Argentina. There's going to one hell of gig in heaven tonight with tiff on the drums and cooking up a feast.
"God must have heard about his cooking skills and taken him from us for himself ! Love you always bro xx".
It is reported that windows and doors were not open in the flat and that a neighbour called police after noticing water coming out under the front door.
An official investigation has been launched into what exactly caused the horrible incident but foul play is not expected.
Christopher had only been in the South American country for two months when the tragedy happened.
The Tipperary native had planned to go travelling around the world for a year.
The Morris family are now awaiting his body to be sent back to Ireland after it is released.
