South London, it's just ridiculous round here sparrow. 1 bedroom flat opposite my house is £1,500 p.c.m. It's not even that great, no garden, just near to the station and you can get to Victoria in 15 minutes, madness, I don't know oop North that well but have lots of mates in Newcastle, you could no doubt get a decent house for that rent I would have thought.

I was born and brought up in Hackney, Slippy. And the price of property has gone ridiculous there now, ex council flats going for fortunes.

Hackney dogs on Saturday mornings was part of my world for a very long time sparrow, I truly loved that place. It was hardly a fashionable place though to live back in the day.

I used to go to Hackney on Saturday mornings in the 60s but nearby Clapton was my track and different class altogether. The greyhound derby winner was trained at Clapton 5 times in the 60s.
