Put this one up last time and has to go close again today. Will be better suited by the return to 1m6f for sure. Hanagan rode him to get the trip last time.......which backfired. Fanning will have him closer to the pace today, which will see the horse run a huge race. He will NOT be out of the frame make no mistake about that. Choice of bets take the 9/2 as an ew bet or lump on at around 1.72 as a place wager.....easy £72 to £100 imo. HURRY HOME POPPA 2.45 NOTTS.
Most impressed with his horse last time and is brought out quickly to take advantage of a great handicap mark. Has a feather weight to carry today. Looks a steal at even money as I rate this one a 1/2 shot. Rivals seem thin on the ground so barring accidents looks nailed on to collect. MUSTADRIK 4.20 KILB........GL if you play.
I don't see the point of putting up an EW bet in a 16 runner handicap, followed by the Elliott 'good thing' at Kilbeggan that all the world and his brother will be aware of. If the EW goes down, you're relying on the next one just to recover losses. Just back the latter and have a winning day.

agree MUSTADRIK ( 10/11 ) must have a good chance if in the same form as its last run. only slight worry would be the extra 4 furlongs ? although was said to
be staying on strongly lto so should be ok.

Maybe Paul spotted that GE has another well handicapped horse (Eshtiaal) that won again last night to make it 3 wins in a row (and 2 in 2 days). I don't think Mustadrik is as good at the moment, but considering the 'talents' of GE, who knows.
I would back it at evens, but no way at 1/2

Your description of Hurry Home Poppa's last race is rubbish. The horse did nothing wrong at all, he was simply beaten by a progressive horse who was unexposed at the trip. He was not held up, he simply moved across from a wide draw in his own time, and found himself at the back of the field as they went a good pace. Hanagan's hands were motionless on the horse's neck - he wasn't holding him back, he was letting the horse go at his own pace, and he came past the field nicely in the straight at his own pace and beat everything else well, apart from the winner, who he wouldn't have beaten no matter how he'd have been ridden as that horse was far too good for everything on the day. Watch the race from the outset. Having said that, he certainly is odds-on for a place as he has to be about the most consistent horse in training - but he does have a bad draw again - even worse than last time.

I've dabbled on the 28-1 for Bluesea Beauty against the Elliott hotpot. Lightly races improver like the fav was last time and this step up to 3m could see improvement but would need to.

If I'm being generous then he's made less than two points profit. Not really tips are they?
At least he might make an appearance today though.
You've still done better than me though!

In fairness to paul, funny how the haters have very little comment to make when a profit is made. To hear some of the idiots on here you would think they never back a loser.

I agree with holmesdale, these are becoming tedious and pointless threads. Everyone was aware of the odds on 'handicap good thing' in Ireland and tipping a consistent, well backed favourite in another handicap was hardly Tom Segal. A couple of posters on here put up Ya Halla at bigger prices (won at 16/1) and deserve the plaudits they received, but paul needs to revise his way of posting in future.

Had a quick look at the usual and boring comments from the freaks. Sweden.....funny how your always on my threads pontificating as to how tedious they are......then why are you sniffing around all the time reading them?.....you make very little sense imo. Cork.....same applies to you.....can't resist putting in your pathetic opinion.....it's an open forum you fool. kenbo....you don't even warrant any comments.

paul the b, think before you post a reply, double standards spring to mind, if it is ok for you to post, why should I not be permitted to say the opposite, it is after all, as you yourself point out, an open public forum. Unless it is complimentary you don't want it, is that your wish...?

Cork....your missing the point as usual.....if your not in the least bit interested in my threads then why read them let alone comment.......makes no sense at all. May you just be a tad interested then?.....but can't bear to admit it. GOOD NIGHT.

paul the b, well done on having such illusions of grandeur, you like many others put up threads with selections, I like many others I suspect, read most of them, if you wish to take that as me having an interest in what you post, then I would be guilty as charged.
It is a shame your results are so poor, at least if they were decent you would have a position of sorts to defend, but what you post is the kind of thing that the gravy train passengers would be proud of, nothing surprising and certainly nothing remarkable, hence so many comments like my own.
Put some work in and you might earn some plaudits, stick with the rubbish and expect the criticism to continue, if you can't take negative comments then perhaps the forum is not the right place for you, it is the nature of the beast, you have to be prepared to take the good and the bad dependent on your overall performance and the evidence to date gives you little to boast about.
For someone with such a self-inflated ego you take the slightest criticism very badly, that is a fault you should work on or you might lose the plot altogether.
