Of having this man as a 'paddock judge'? Horse cost £380,000, but plenty look much better than him for today?

Horse hoses up. Does he say "I Got That Wrong" from a paddock perspective? Does he fk. These so called judges RUK, ATR are never ever wrong in their own opinion.

What these self-titled "experts" won't tell you,is often no horse stands out,or no horse looks poor.Sometimes there aren't any positives,or negatives, just a bunch of ok horses.
They should be honest enough to say that there were no paddock-watching signs of any significance.
For obvious reasons they are afraid to say this, and feel they must come out with comments of sorts.

you'd have to be fairly clueless to look at a field of 2yos in paddock in May and not see any difference between any of them

mention "green" and "a nice coat" or "looks the part" and they have it covered

I think it was a £1 a month he charged, if it was free it was still too much!!

Let me ask you all a question, if a horse is sweating profusely in the paddock is it a positive or negative ?

duncan,my comment was a generalisation, and as far a 2 Y Os go,watching them canter down to the start gives a better picture. And yes, sometimes there aren't any obvious paddock signs.

Olias, usually a negative, but NOT in every case, and that is the problem. It may be more relaxed by the time it gets to the start,or maybe get worse!

ive always said for an experiment for a week they should have the horses go around the paddock without number clothes on,and get the course to provide the people to walk them around, then let the likes of yifter give us their paddock picks, any loon can say a  million dollar 4 to 7 shot horse looks ok,  to your average paddock watcher theres no reason why a 33 to 1,40 grand horse shold look markedly different to the bluebloods,

G C suggested Merchant Of Medici was unlikely to follow up his recent win at Haydock, not many horses doing such a thing having won for the first time in 4 years.
Pardon me, but in my experience it is just the opposite. How many times do horses who have never won, never looked like winning, then win 2  consecutively. The man is a joke.

What are you all complaining about, do you want some smart, shrewd pro punter on TV giving excellent advice to all the public about how to make money betting or do you want a failed tipster misdirecting them ?

They just want the job themselves.

Cuuningless does a wonderful job on behalf of us all and you should be grateful to him and the channels that employ him.
