Most English people would prefer to see the Luftwaffe back in london.

Its odds on Labour will get in as The Conservatives spent more money
than Blairs so called reckless crew,in 5 years the country will be bankrupt under G.O. the sniffer so unlikely that Blair would take he job on no Brown Balls... |

a) If things go t**s up in this parliament and Cameron resigns there's every chance Boris will take over as leader.
b) Cameron has said this will be his last term as Prime Minister which leaves the door open for Boris to become leader in five years time. I don't believe the British people would re-elect the Conservatives with this uber-buffoon at the helm so I expect Labour supporters will be cheering on Boris. This is just my opinion I'm sure there will be many forumites believe that Boris could take the Conservatives to another level. |
|
By:
In practice Cameron has to go some time before 2020. They will have to have a leadership contest and some time for the new leader to bed in. If it's Boris that would be in more ways than one.
|

Osbourne is obsessed with housing but it may blow up in his face some time in the next 5 years
its a re inflated bubble that is bound to burst with drastic consequences imo.. |

The whole financial system is built on sand.

No way on earth would Boris get the position.
|
|
By:
I agree ;the party just wont elect Boris as leader.
|
|
By:
I'd love to see Jacob Rees-Mogg but he's probably a little too Tory for most tastes.
|
|
By:
You should hope so Johnny, it would be a disaster for the Conservatives in my opinion.
If the next five years go ok it would be wise to pass the baton to George Osbourne or Theresa May, if they want it of course. |
|
By:
Rees-Mogg would be great news for the Labour Party.
There are really only 3 runners at the moment. Boris,Gideon and Theresa but Cameron may hold on till early 2019 so time for others to emerge. |
|
By:
Think Cameron will come under pressure to go shortly after the referendum so as to give his successor a chance to bed in as leader. It certainly wasn't a clever move to raise his departure prior to the election and I wonder whether he might retract sooner rather than later.
Jacob R-M would be an excellent PM...properly educated, sound views and altogether an impressive parliamentarian who knows his own mind. |

Wouldn't get many votes north of Watford.

Don't agree Salmon...whilst it could be perceived to be a risk once the general public got to know him I think they would be impressed by his openness and honesty. Never under estimate the common sense of the electorate;especially in the Midlands.

I always assumed Rees - Mogg was a self-parody tbh.

Surely Blair is among the most hated politicians of all time here in the UK. Amazing looking back that the great British public kept re-electing him. In hindsight its likely none of us really understood the damage he was doing until his policies kicked in, cant imagine he would of been in office quite so long if Joe Public had realised he was swamping the UK with untold millions of immigrants from all over the world. I hope the chillcot report leads to charges of war crimes against Blair, one horrible man imo.

|
By:
One of the most hated politicians by people that look much beyond the image. Most the the electorate do not.
|
|
By:
Fair comment Howard....but personally, I would like to see the man face charges for the irreparable damage he has done to the world, and the UK in particular.

Despite claims to the contrary, the alleged current recovery is clearly being fuelled by debt, so has to be viewed with a great deal of suspicion. The truth is that economically the UK is anything but out of the woods, and when the UKs true economic position becomes known, the brown stuff will really hit the fan. Welfare benefits, social housing, education, health, crime prevention and other emergency services are unsustainable due to the mass immigration of the Blair years and since. Its sad, but true.
