Just another attention-seeker that will fizzle out eventually (though it will be a while, as he's not as juvenile as some). Does Ireland have these too? Why don't they appear on the Irish forum? Is it an English disease?

ged - we take our wagering seriously like most of the HR forum, like most things in life a small minority ruin it for the majority and fail to recognise how pathetic they come across to the rest of us, banter is welcomed by most but obsessive behaviour is a very worrying and annoying trait, today has to go down as one of the worst for threads from the pathetic attention seekers, in my time on here

Cork - but seriously - don't you have these folks in Ireland? I know you have the internet there - I've been there! Do you export them? Do you get special tax breaks for doing so?

ged - there are a few, but the truth is that the majority of "chumps" have thankfully not yet moved from the bookies to the internet, visit any bookie here and the place will be fairly full compared to UK bookies. Amaze's me that they still prefer to play that way, but community is still very much a big part of life here and most will wander from bookie to pub and often make their bets as a consortium in either, alternatively most pubs here have a "player" on the premises to accommodate those that prefer not to interrupt their drinking to go ten yards to place their wager.
