On the prevailing ground and over this trip I think MASTER BUTCHER looks the likely winner, has by far the best form in this  and comfortably holds master D on a line through Wayupinthesky.
I have always though that Master Butcher didnt look the strongest stayer over 3m so this trip should be ideal, granted its a long run in at Cartmel and you have to stay to some degree.
Its best form has come with cut in the ground, so conditions look ideal.

I would have been with NEWSPAGE on fast ground, it clocked a really quick at Morden (seems to like the place), but have my reservations about it running on ground with cut.... dont know how soft it will ride at Cartmel?

TBF , the rest have to step up on what they have done recently, but its not beyond them ( Cave Hunter yesterday)..

This race has thrown up some shock results in previous years. Can't fault Koi's summary analysis of the race but I'll be having a saver bet on Spitfire Ace who's travelling a fair way to participate in this event and has the best jockey on board.
