The print they showed us was a waste of time

I thought King To Be had just got up in real time, but the freeze looked like Enlace.

thought enlace was just ahead.....it was Cunningham ramping the deadheat that caused the fluctuations.

I backed neither but it looks the right call to me.

Backed Enlace in the photo, have to say the print was closer than I was expecting.

1.2 to 1.05......to 1.5.........phew

couldnt split them on that print. Dead heat all day

if one horse has its head on the line and the other doesn't , then it wins

On that still both horses are touching the line.  That's what casues people to be suspicious

i had 5,000 on enlace thort was comfy..it had gave dh i wouldnt have complained.

on the print they showed , looked ok to me

Both had their nose on the line. The print doesn't show any gap at all. Anything that close should be a dead heat. I backed the other Johnston horse by the way!

print was on ruk..both touching line

the one they showed on RUK

minor point - but we are not looking at a print here, are we?.  We are looking at an image of a print, through a monitor which in all probability is not of the greatest resolution quality (e.g. PC Monitor). We know and have known for a long time that they have the ability make decisions on very very fine margins.

They magnify the image looking for a pixel gap, which becomes a win /lose by a nose. No gap - even when magnified = dead heat.

i,ve blown up the image, the 2nds nose is def not on the line, but having said that i'm not entirely convinced the winners is either

spot on elsie  the bha photo appears to show a small green blur on both horses nose when magnified

top horse, appears to me that there is still a tiny contuation of the grass on the first pixel, maybe it's my eyes, the 2nd horse is clearly not on the line

normally i look and i can say yep right, stfu moaning, but i still have a doubt that this is totally accurate, maybe he's got a better viewer for seeing it close up, hard one

Incredible that the 2nd opened up at over 10's in the photo betting.

i'm not convinced on the top one pablo, there are lines continuing from the other side of the white line and i can't convince myself that there is a contact point on the line, the second is absolutely clear i agree

there is a bit of green on the winner but it would have to have a deformed flat nostril..the 2nd has clear green space

elise , i have blown it up in MS paint , i think it gives that impression because the winners nose is darker .

pablo ,if you blow the picture up there is green background between the winners nose and the line just like so called 2nd

carrot , i believe the green you are seeing IS the horses nose , just a different shade of colour/shine whatever from the rest of its head , as the ammount of nose i see on the line is very minimal . looks like its nose to me . i may wrong , but that's my view
