This was one of my favourite horses 2 seasons back when he won 3 in a row including at Royal Ascot. His long absence is a worry but he could still be a Group 1 horse if staying sound.

The only male horse to have beaten him also makes a return to the flat today, having been running in novice hurdles.

Far too short in the betting considering how long he's been off for.

not really guessing is it? its putting faith in gosden and i believe you can. gosden doesn't leave them short of prep and pretty sure wouldnt be running if they weren't entirely satisfied he retains his ability. i think he'll put this lot away without blowing

Might not have much to beat. I suspect The Corsican would be shorter in the market if today was the day. Educate hasn't won for ages and even at his best probably wouldn't be good enough. Grandeur probably wants quicker ground and Godolphin have kindly taken theirs out.
