Whitley Bay.

Not impressed with either. Was at the North Shields Sambuca two weeks ago and it was very poor. Food, service and wine were decidedly average.

Better off enjoying fish and chips out of the wrapper while walking in the bracing air of Whitley Bay surely?

Best fish and chips I had in the beautiful North East was by that Funicular Railway thingy at the cliff side at Saltburn by the Sea. The pier is fab.
