i'd consider a pair of steiner wildlife, skyhawk, safari etc, you can find them on amazon but i'd always try them first as weight, eye piece comfort etc varies from person to person
i have a pair of canon with the stability control which i think were about 400 when i bought them, i found the stability button made a huge difference when viewing anything at extreme distance but not sure whether you'll get something like that at under 200 quid |

I wouldn't get any more than x 40 as you wouldnt be able to hold them still enough and would require a tripod . Try scopesandskies website look down the left. They have a bargin box ,I've bought a couple of sets which have been really good.

Give these people a ring. They can advise and have second hand stock as well as new. |

Maximum 10 Magnification - otherwise the field are too close/large in final furlong and a half - and, also, the focus could be unstable at longer distance.
