Just received a flier from these two promising riches. I recall they both operated in the 80s on a Saturday double basis without great success. Anybody had any recent dealings with them ?
got one from colin davey the other day and bob rothman with the same old sh!t adverts from the 80's
they are probably preying on the unfortunate OAPs with dementia

I used Rothman back in the 80's for about 9 months, most of the tips were for Ian Campbell/Ross Campbell All Weather hurdlers. Had about 10 winners on the bounce then about 15-20 losers on the bounce.
I remember a double with Wiltoski and Soda Popinski - got 12's - 16s on both of them ended up about 7-2 I think, both won by half the track.

Does the recent upsurge in tipster spam and flyers mean the people who went to prison have made a daring breakout (or possibly been released on licence)?

ALAN CARFAX address was a po box in West Sussex I think
Early to mid 80s. Full page advert every week on the back of the Weekender. Ten pound for 4 weeks with a free Ascot treble thrown in . First week Horse called Barula won at 9/4 plus a non runner. Then came the ascot treble. Three of Henry Cecils. Water Cay ,Fauatus and Grand Pavois I think were the three. All three won I think it was an 84 /1 treble. I Was only young at the time and thought fckk mw I will never have to work. Paid up for a year within a few days. Jesus, dont think he gave more than 10 winners in the whole year mostly odds on shots.
After The Alan Carfax Bollox was finished.
MARTIN WELLS address was a po box in ST Leonards I think
Not much to say about him apart from he was just as ****.
Havent heard of any of them for at least 20 years.
Do yourself a favour and stay away.
