when the ground is soft and they fall like that ( on their neck ) , they tend to slide more which helps to prevent serious injuries to some extent . would it be a bad idea to water the ground 30 yards or so after each jump? similar to how they water the ground on football pitches so the players can slide and fall without injuring themselves like they would do with a dry ground ![]() |

Certainly makes sense p-f.
If they could make landing side as soft as possible, almost like a sand pit, should surely reduce the number of jumping fatalities? |
