sorry dan - You are absolutely wrong there.
We are talking about a dead STRAIGHT Sprint and Mile course here. The most important factor is undoubtedly the Going - governed by, of course, primarily the weather (and watering) - - BUT, ALSO by the composition of the track surface. If horse do not ACT FULLY on it, or any particular course - then it undoubtedly does not matter HOW they are ridden - or by WHO. |

Ive been in the company of jocks & suggested.....................stack em up in the last bend..............(whilst leading) & kick i.e. the strait a lot faster.....................U go whilst there still on the bend.....................horses speed up on the straight.......................not the bend
