did nothing wrong whatsoever, if anything it's lee that was going for a gap that wasn't really there.

WTF for? For trying to get out and win the race.
Whatever the "racing line", O'Neill made a definite manoeuvre towards the rail to give Lee NO CHANCE of getting out. A small gap was made non-existant and could've had Lee on the ground.
