A cop out from the RUK pundits and O'Neill went off a true line and moved away from the rail to create the gap and if he then only held his true line then there was room for Lee to go by, but instead O'Neil turned his horse's head to the left and steered into Lee to stop him taking the gap.
Lee's judgement was a bit iffy too though as in such a small field, why even race there if you know your horse is travelling but will need the split to come in order to get out?
