No real point parispike, just assumed a "Cheltenham customer" was a fredism for a shrewdie.

My guess would be that the staff in that shop have you marked.

some shops i go say its £50.you then say it says £100 on your screen.not in this shop they say

Ok, IDKW. That's possible but the girl behind the counter (who is "old school") offered to show me the e mail which presumably was of a general nature.

Scandalous that they can make an offer and then refuse to honour it. Akin to M&S offering in the window to sell @ £10 and then when I go and buy it's £15 because I'm in the Cheltenham shop...

The one in the main High Street (as opposed to the Lower HS one). Are you from Cheltenham?
