Racing is really quite odd in that it always seems to close ranks on clear breaches of rules and criminality. It seems that if you are involved it all becomes excusable and after a little bit of wrist slapping all is fine again.

ATR chose to give oxygen to people who have been found guilty of cheating punters and owners and just don't see the justification. Yes we all make mistakes and hope to move forward but there is no real desire in my opinion to root out and remove the cancer within the sport.

Something needs to change as horseracing is hardly taking the general publics imagination by storm. Other than free beer offers the audience for the most part just cant be bothered, why should they when cheats are embraced?
