Not showboating. He has always been and will be second rate. Made a big move out wide much too early. On the best backed horse of the day. Idiot.

Pocket talking............. If anyone to blame it`s Botti
By:
travelled , kicked clear and got fetched out by a battler. What more could he have done? He went 3 or 4 lengths clear on the bend on a horse that stays. IMO he rode a textbook race, it was unlucky to bump into one. He has beaten the rest a distance.

G1 winner absolutely outpaced by a 64 rated hurdler.....unfit.

Apologists out in force. Used all the petrol up and had nothing to respond with.
By:
I backed it and ive no problem with the ride...kicked on...passed...simples
By:
ph spot on. Horse will come on a bundle for it. Just got tired in the home straight against one that kept battling.

Nothing wrong with the ride, pocket screamers out in force

jockey was looking at the big screen 1f out rather than full drive. WAC

Usual suspects checking in.

Jockey just admitted he went for home too soon, and got caught out.....trainer and jockey are happy with the run as the gold cup has always been the plan.

It stays further and was running all over them, in the ground he kicked clear in case it went from cruising to snoozing. How many times do you wish a traveller was kicked clear instead of getting into a battle. I never backed it but if I did I wouldn't blame Harley, the repeat is on again and the only two travelling were Tac and Gosdens. He was beaten by a hardy underated horse.
By:
Terrific, the apologists seem to think they know more than the rider they are defending.
By:
Penalty, hit the front too soon, and possibly unfit.....beaten by a horse better suited to todays conditions.
By:
Not an admission he went too early, just a suitable ready to hand excuse. I'm not sure away from the cameras he tells Botti they had the perfect race bar the result.
By:
Apologists are cooonts, always turn up after the event, total vvankers.
By:
and do Tac backers believe that Nivens wasn't fit as well?
By:
As do the pocket talkers
By:
ah well basil, hope you lost plenty if you can't take it on the chin.It went to 1.03 no excuse not to have put a cheeky low lay in but no,you and the moaners were happy bunnies when he kicked clear seeing it was only a toerag doing the chasing. I made the same mistake yesterday on Cannock Chase as I thought Moore would drive it home and cancelled my 1.14 lay. Get greedy get caught!
By:
Apologists are worse than aftertimers.....get a grip for christs sake. If you think something is going to get rumped after its backed into favouritism and the trainer has gone public with how much he fancies it, then ffs say why it will get beat before the race. Aftertiming is a bad joke that is only understood by other aftertiming idiots.

Wasting your time on here mate, these people are the ones who woke up this morning and said to themselves "I knew the conservatives would win the election with a majority" Clueless.

quite possibly MJK but if it set it alight then surely the best thing is to give it its head? And Basil I'm not aftertiming I thought it the most likely winner pre race but didn't want to play. I certainly didn't lay it, I was only defending Harley if by not being involved in the race I can't comment then I do apologise. I thought it perspective, you perceive it as aftertiming quite how I'm crowing I've no idea. It is one of racings upsets, no more no less. And it does hurt when you're on.

By:
The pocket talkers would have been shouting go on my son as it cruised into the lead, they knew it was good thing.............................Then when it gets caught WTF did he go that early for PMSL
By:
Ph yes probably. Without doubt I'd say Harley was sure he'd win 2F out. Nothing to do with the penalty imop which is always trotted out by the pundits.
