Early in the race? -

Made no attempt to use one - if he hadn't.

Looked an absolute 'not off' ... despite traveling best of all, and then being in close contention - if no whip.

I agree Onlooker. Travelled really well and somehow didn't place! Rather confused by that effort.Or lack of.

YES - marko - If it makes you feel SMUG ....

I feel well and truly robbed.

I can stomach losers - we all have them - and it happens.

But in my decades at this game  - that was one of either the most obvious - or mystifying.

It simply  did NOT add up - at all.
