Just watched the Morning Line for the first time in about 5 years. I can see what you are moaning about, god it was bad. To call it dull would be overestimating its worth. Basically 4 blokes in a pub, they even finished with a meaningless unexplained simulation of Brigadier Gerard V Frankel v others, real pub talk. The only thing that struck a chord was punters had not really been consulted or represented on the Jockeys title race, that meaningless contest we have each year that interests no one inside racing let alone newcomers.

Yea, but we did get some racing stats even if it was interactive footage of Dancing Brave beating Frankel. We can now go in to any bookies armed with this amazing inside knowledge. Who needs P-Wise? With this and Tommos tipping line, what a great time to be a punter.

Not even a mention of the Kentucky Derby which looks a high class renewal. Instead talking about the jockeys championship. Priorities all wrong. Was bored to death.

The show exists to sell industry propaganda and bookmaking industry lies to those stupid enough to watch.

Entertaining the viewer, or giving those watching what they want, is not in any way a part of the commercial agenda...

What will be today's amazing fact be about whoever wins the Guineas? You know like the usual white they spout after EVERY big race..' the win is all the more amazing as the owner couldn't find his wooden leg this morning and only got here when a local carpenter made him a new one' variety.
