I thought that all trainers would offer him rides hoping to get into the record book for giving him his last winner. It will be a quiz question for years to come..

'Greatest jockey' gets two rides in seven races. I doubt very much he only wanted two rides and I doubt very much that all other rides were set in stone or jockeys would have been overly upset for the sake of one historic day, particularly if he is as popular as we are lead to believe. You can only assume plenty of connections, for whatever reason, didn't want his services.

Disagree. Jonjo in the paper today saying he could have ridden yesterday's winners. Pretty sure he wants to end in the green and gold.
