C4 racing presentation

An absolute mess of a show IMO

I recently cancelled my racing uk after Cheltenham but after 1 hour of channel 4 I have just put racing uk back on
Channel 4 with Alice Emma GC and big head McGrath is 2 painful that tool Gok W ank was the final straw + the endless ppi adverts at the break

Ffs - it just gets worse

What's all this horse racing ruining my enjoyment of the adverts?

Why we need the "fashion" bs is fookin beyond me.....my mrs is in the room and she couldn't give 2 hoots about it....i doubt ladies across the uk are turning on to see who wins a free lip wax for putting a feckin frock on

I just flicked over and they were awarding some best dressed award to a worzel gummage lookylikey

They've had some pretty awful presenters over the years (and some very good ones too), but that screeching Plunkett woman is the worst ever. Also Tanya (God bless her!)just does not get any more relaxed and is still a bag of nerves after all these years. Balding was a disastrous appointment and they soon got rid, so  hopefully a clear out soon!

I've had enough Delta. This absolute car crash presentation is completely  winding me up and spoiling the actual racing.
I moved house recently and didn't recreate Sky set up/ATR/Racing Uk.

Will be doing so very soon.

There are so many problems from boring and dull presenters to the lack of form and betting talk. But the over slick production and over dramatic music that plays during "arty" shots do nothing for me. I'm convinced the producers are hoping for a gig in Hollywood!

What the programme needs is an enthusiastic,jovial presenter who has good rapport with the general public ,is a superb commentator and has some jolly catchphrases like "they're not messing about" ,and "whoa big fella'". There must be somebody out there who fits this description.....

Nice one Artie, the guy who has the gig at Musselburgh during the summer.....Derek something or other fits the bill. He is tremendous. Everybody likes him and he is so jolly and talks to everybody! That bucket puts round for your name, address, mobile no. etc is a nuisance though!

mmm la bella Francesca,seems very capable whenI've seen the Aussie coverage. She is personable, knowledgable and very easy on the eye. Makes Emma R look like she is on the batter. Can't see what C4 could offer her.

not sure what you guys are whinging at
they're bringing quality pictures of horses jumping over fences in slow motion and alice mentioning runners that have been "had support on the exchanges"

dread to think how much budget went to gok wan k & co. talking about cutting edge fashion

BBC have thrown in the towel, so thank god for Channel 4 who cater for all those people who like to have a little flutter and watch their horses run but haven`t got Sky and the RUK monthly subscription.

...and doing the fashion Gok Wan is OK but I think C4 really missed a trick by not getting James Sherwood when BBC coverage went. The BBC fashion correspondent would have attained cult status by now on C4.

You may only have C4( as have I ). Doesn't mean you have to roll over and accept what dross is being fed to you.

Abysmal coverage today. Put a stream of RUK on for most of the afternoon but it wasn't great so I switched back just in time for comments like "fashion is in Liverpool girls DNA". Unwatchable drivel. I resent the idea of paying RUK circa £240 for one channel but it's gonna have to be done

The coverage is abysmal. You get better insight on William Hill TV to be honest with Andrew Thornton when he's in the studio and I'd rather watch it in there I think. I only tuned in to channel 4 1min before post time for all the races today and turned off straight after. The coverage is getting worse and worse.

Because I watched yesterday's coverage? And have watched the coverage for the past couple of years since they changed everything to the new style. Please tell me what great in depth analysis I missed on today's racing please
