that didnt look good
By:
shocking, never put horse in with a chance of winning the race
By:
Yep, so frustrating at times
By:
He looked very stylish though for 6 furlongs
By:
Reluctantly placed in the 1st 3.
By:
ill judged at best
By:
Amazed the same old faces stand for it

watching the body language of Gibbons on the winner - obviously trying to win - and kelly on the 3rd - obviously trying not to place...
disgusting jockey. |
By:
if you put that ride side by side against one of his winners , the body language difference would be obvious to someone that has never seen a race .
By:
did not whip it once
By:
The have to do something about this ride for so called integrity of the game
By:
maybe he alerted the authorities to Ahern and Culhane and so gets a free rein as an informer. No other jockey including consistently sits so far off the pace often in the last three ( inc JPS )but always prepared to chart an ultra wide course and lose ground or 'try' a rails run with the inevitable traffic.
By:
the thing is , with a bit of effort they could have won that , with a nice SP
By:
Yes but this one was much worst... They horse pulled him to the challengers, and he was fumbling trying so hard not to take a tug.
As it is wisely said above, body language between winner and him is very very telling, even for the rookies in the sport |
By:
shocking ride to win, great ride to place, take your pick.
By:
but Pablo if that yard decide its the day then its 5/2, no lovely SP coups executed just in your face cash cash
By:
sad for racing...
By:
ph , most people get into the mindset that the sp or price will be demolished if certains yards or owners have a punt
i don't agree with that i have seen far too many horses win at big prices from "shrewdies" , where if they were not trying, the horse would not have won or been in the first 3 |
By:
correct pf, its all guess work
By:
you are correct pablo. Not every punt is a barney curly punt
By:
Thanks foz for taking the time and watching the replay, and letting me know that in 40 years in this hobby, i have not become blinded ....
I had no financial interest on the horse. In fact, i bet the winner, and the whole race, i was watching that horse in white that will win by 5.... well kelly thought otherwise |
By:
i backed it because it looked well handicapped, at least i was right on that score.

By:
aye and makes you wonder why they needed to test the water
By:
Shyte jockey
By:
Had a look at the replay, truly sickening lack of effort at every stage of the race.
Total filth. |
By:
Nice to see they actually did something.
By:
He added that WICKHAMBROOK (IRE) had settled in rear off a generous place and travelled well into the straight but he failed to find as much as he had expected when he asked the gelding to pick up one furlong out.

By:
He should try the stand up circuit with lines like that

By:
would love them to make an example of him.....
praying for him to be banned one day a vile human being............................ |
By:
Wow! Fecking brilliant. Well done stewards. Rarely more fully deserved.
By:
WOW !
Denis O'Reagan, Jason Maguire and now possibly the worse culprit of them all..... WELL DONE Stewards, and the Security Dept; of the BHA ! THE NET IS CLOSING ! |
By:
Tbf, there does seem to be an emphasis to clean the Sport up !
By:
that can only be good for racing long term.....
a lot of what happens seems to be on these all weather tracks of late..... |
By:
Sick of low lifes like kelly costing me, lets hope he takes a career ending fall sooner rather than later, scum like him have no place in racing.
By:
10 days the going rate for stopping a horse?
![]() |
By:
perhaps the horse needs 6f,but very iffy ride on rio ronaldo at lingfield last week for same yard.
By:
Green and Gold will be in next no doubt......
Sorry I'm 9 days early with that line. |
By:
agree with Duncan,10 days is that it? Gives him a quick week in the sun for the start of the flat, hardly punishing. Maybe a fine of £10k also might make a difference. Next time its 3 months and £50k,licence not returnable until fine paid in full. They go after convicted criminals money so why not jockeys because it was a fraudulent ride, any backer was cheated of a winning effort from Kelly.

Pablo SP jobs are doable but the operation to punt wide and small ( and late ) needs some organising. At 20s if getting on 2k e/w then jobsagoodun, perhaps 50 hits of £40ew, thats a lot of hits 10mins before the off or a 100 hits of £20 ew mixed in with 2 50pew yankees on the same slip.
