Where have you been?!
|

By:
Football season....not bothered about jumps.
Why, has it been binned? |
|
By:
Stopped this last jumps reason....not economical or something like that.
|

By:
Cheers,Can't believe it wasn't as popular....not after doubling the fiver entry.
|

By:
probly run by the same muppets as who thought it was a great idea to double the lottery to £2 a go and have virtually killed it !

Surprised that no-one has started something similar(apart from Hill's "The Jumps").I'd have thought that Skybet/Sporting Life, for example, who do a few comps would be able to start something. They would need the exposure in the RP,though.Or even the RP themselves...

a Racing Post 10 to follow comp would be immensely popular considering the online potential ...
|
|
By:
Was just about to say are there any others going?

It was set up as a pool bet which is why it needed the Tote to run it. |

It was amazing...how can they scrap a competition like that when all they do is bang on about 'getting people interested' and worrying about the bleedin narrative of a season... picking your team of horses to follow surely is a way for the casual follwer to get involved? needs to be brought back to life and supported

This comp was massive for thousands of people every year till that **** done got his hand's on it and pulled the plug,it really does make me angry.

tbf, interest was waning as you could see by the catastrophic drop in prize money. Doubling the price made it too expensive for many, and for others it may have become seen as a game for insiders.

By:
I just hope it makes a comeback in some way.

Betfair could run something similar and instead of a pool, have guaranteed prizemoney as I am sure there will be thousands of members interested to play !
