Indeed. But surely someone running the game should ensure jockeys can actually ride, particularly where there is money involved.

Your point the dealer is lazy. Yes, you don't have to back in them but if you do, you should expect a certain standard. Mr Gethings pushed his mount from a very unpromising position to get second, clearly Mrs Alex Dunn has no riding ability whatsoever apart from being to aim it in the right direction. Her mount had every chance in that weak race on form, you can't have people riding that are not capable of riding a finish to a decent standard. You may not bet in it, I may not bet in it, but someone has put their hard-earned money on it and that just isn't acceptable.
Same ride on Helium last week at Plumpton, sat up on leaving the back straight and had a breather until between the last two
as far as i can see she has ridden a few winners and hasnt that bad a record, so how do you judge, on one or two rides?
Find me the rides where the horse hasn't breezed to the front and she's out-ridden someone in a finish and I'll respect your remarks.
