Ladbrokes were 16-1 on this horse for there early price, changed price to 2-1 at 1st show stage after result all customers to be paid at 2-1 regardless of what price was taken. Thoughts on this surly a firm cannot just amend a price after the result of a race, Ladbrokes traders should be monitoring prices and comparing prices with rival firms etc what is the betting world coming too
if the price was materially different to the general market and clearly out of line given the chance of the event occurring, they can settle at lower price

just seems betting companies can hide behind a rule like that if they make a error like this be different if they opened up 2-1 went 16-1 then went back to 2-1 then can understand where a firm was coming from

If this was an error at 9am spotted by 915 that would be fair enough. This was spotted in my home town and well punted during morning. It was still available at nearly 3pm. Surely alarm bells this day and age might of gone off!

EMail to IBAS. Holding out no hope. But what about all the punters who bet the other horses that were short in betting. Should they have a right of complaint not being aware there was 2/1 shot?
