Shantou Magic at this level and on soft ground is an obvious danger but a bit lackluster last time out so I will be opposing with Smart Freddy here. Been in really good form with 3 wins in his last 4 starts albeit lucky last time out with the front pair falling late on but a runner going in the right direction, no concerns with the ground nor his jumping, up in trip for the first time today so that will be his main test but for me if he gets it then he is capable if winning this race.

i think he knew the horse had a great chance to win thats why hes convincing people to lay it here to bump up the price.

OK  heres my take lucky winner last time  and  very rarely  do they win next time  . Me Dad told me that 1962  the nag was very lucky again
re the other 4 lays  forget em  why I lost 6 points on that nag
so its bets only from now ...sorry about that guys

Race panned out well for the winner. Fav couldn't jump and the rag took the second fav on for the lead.

Hard game.

You're lucky this is an anonymous forum, otherwise OLBG's zipster would be suing you for such an outrageous slur !

Duncan  your post  13.01 is spot on
2 golden rules
1 admit when your are wrong
2 never chase  losses
so the other 4  lays  ,bin   em

2 win bets  may get  me back in front   the other 4 lays cannot  that's why I said dump em

zipper - your last sentence effectively admits to a chasing strategy despite your golden rule number 2. Make your mind up!

Why do you have to get your losses back today?  Looks like classic chasing to me.

Just for the record the win bets are Lingfield

3.10 Shyron   the most open race today  we bet 6/1 the field   so  win and place
4.10 this looks a bit easier  so on the nose  Beau night
win lose or draw  that's me out today  ...got a life outside racing

You don't bet after 4 Zippy, so will this be the gardener/chauffeur and blow up doll repair man's bets...?

When: 23 Jan 15 13:58
DAVE  IT aint chasing  the lays are down the pan  ,, but the nap and next best are still to run   that's win and place bets   3.10   and 4.10 ...
By:
zipper
When: 23 Jan 15 14:00
Cork   that's true  but this 4.10 could be special

So in reality the 4.00 pm rule only applies when it suits and there really is no basis for what you do other than sticking your pin in the paper and then attempting to type it on here.
Let's face it if you did the cards and had 5 lays, dropping the latter 4 because the first one won shows a total lack of confidence and self belief in your own ability, that is our job...!

Cork its all numbers   now pin your ears back   I had 5 lays  say a ton a time  all 5 get beat  ok I win 500
but the first one lost me 600  so whats the point laying the other 4 ... think about it   ok your thick   think again  the penny will drop
I am better off having 200 on my nap and n/b  same money

It isnt a 1 day game Zipp. Youve changed your strategy based on the fact your in a losing position
Your strategy shouldnt change just because(youve lost your bottle)  of the outcome of a previous race which has no bearing on your other lays
