I find the races where one horse goes clear the hardest to judge in running. You see it a lot in Ireland. Dangerous playing big in these races as a horse can go from an evens chance to a million or an evens chance to 1.01 in a very short time.

Agreed Tally but when the horse is heavily backed favourite and you can get much bigger than SP in running it is help yourself time. If it had continued to pull hard after the first 3 furlongs, I would have left it, but from then on he was only taking a healthy hold of the bit. I think he was just lit up by the crowd in the early stages.
