its a programme that ive gone off really ,,, indeed a couple of weeks ago i listenend to the drivel at mc cains yard ,,, ohh the horses are now right ,, mysterious virus , they now look a lot better ,spring in their step ...the obvious question ... ok why did y not know that they werent right not asked ... there followed a few bits on here questioning if he knew what he was doing ...
this morning the trainer Skelton ... nothing negative we get them fit we jump them lots ,,, we put in right races .if the ground doesnt suite we wait till it does ... we make mistakes and move on . he was light hearted even self effaceing ,,, he looked a tough cookie ... he knows ecxactly where hes going and how to get there ,,,i was seriously impressed both by his demeanour and gritty determination ... he also has a keen eye for detail which in a trainer is so needed ... he looked a leader who people would follow not a guesser ... i imagine his staff respect him ... but im also sure hes very demanding .the contrast between the two was marked ... skelton was business business  mc cain wasnt as impressive ,,

Alice Plunkett spoilt an otherwise ok programme by constantly talking over the other guests and undermining Rishi as presenter.

What a ghastly woman she is.

Agreed, family background gives him a great opportunity to succeed.

The 'big' national hunt owners will supply him with the ammunition to make it to the top level. I'm also sure Paul Nicholls will wish him well and relish the challenge.

None of which alters the fact that "Scrunkett" represents all that is wrong in horse racing.

Very annoying. And someone needs to tell her it's very rude to keep interrupting people.

Must be Nicholls turn on the programme next week surely? Himself and Dan seem to be on it a lot.

---------------

Since when has Ms Flunkedit "represented horse racing"

The ONLY thing that she is REALLY interested in - is her husband, William Fox-Pitt's, Three-Day Eventing operation ... Badminton Horse Trials, et al.

Quite WHY SHE is on a Horse RACING programme simply beggars belief.
