I'm 20 miles away and it looks like being very cold. If it is anything like last night they will struggle. We had nearly an inch of ice on ponds this morning and lawn solid all day.

I would say evens as it is another frosty night maybe  not as cold as last night when it was still frozen at 10 this morning. Grassed areas in Taunton were still crunchy at 11.30 this morning . Should be sunny tomorrow from 9am so may help. The 1.3 Yes to go ahead seems wide of the mark!!

I'm going tomorrow if its on. I'm fairly hopeful, they have frost covers so surely as long as it doesn't get below -5 it should be ok. As long as when they take the covers off it isn't still that old that the frost go in the ground. Hope it's on because I fancy a couple.

they have covered the whole course and could have raced today according to their twitter account

8.00 inspection is precautionary but if the temps are as predicted they say they will race.
