davy russel a wart on the face of racing ask yourself what does a horse placed 2nd in the champion bumper need ? perhaps a strong gallop and plenty of use made of him....

In case you had not noticed .... it is HEAVY at Leopardstown today.

It was GOOD ground - when Silver Concorde won the Cheltenham Festival Bumper

Silver Concorde's Dam Sire (Daylami) has an 8% Strike-rate, with progeny on HEAVY ground.

Silver Concorde has two Half-Brothers ...

Both were well-beaten on HEAVY

One won 3 times ... ALL on the ALL-Weather

The other was Placed 3 times - on the All-Weather, and on Good.
--------------

NOTHING stops them like the GOING.

I Like to see a yard with at least a 20% strike rate before having a bet,
The Late Will Hill`s advice;
Beware the Certainties.

Horse jumped poorly today at several hurdles and stumbled badly about 3 out, think it will be better for the run as well and as mentioned above will be all the better on good ground.

Cheltenham Festival Bumper race has a rich history of potential superstar winners who have go on to do 'rock all' when a few hurdles placed in the way.

NOT,  "aftertiming," at all - you sarcastic cynic.

Merely pointing out the 'BLIND Fav backer's' LACK of PRE-race RESEARCH.

But - then again .... the majority of the complainants are NOT capable of such study -

- and would not know where to start.

I backed it and replied because it appeared the OP made out it was a "fix",I thought at 1.43 it was value even with the ground taken into account considering the opposition but it jumped like a yak with piles,on better ground it would have been a 1.15 shot today.
