I agree conkian -really amazed that he didn't look that bothered - almost as though he was thinking 'well that's what I was told to do - job done'.
Report conkian December 14, 2014 3:20 PM GMT
a young jockey should have been crying buckets but looked almost pleased with himself stewards should look at that imo

Report comefrombehind December 14, 2014 3:57 PM GMT
just read lapsys comment im actually a bookmaker who uses betfair generally for edging purposes
i didn't have a penny on the horse just making the point of the drift to 9/1 on the off
when he was trading 5.5 20 mins earlier, as for the stewards report they will take the jockeys
word that the horse ducked out and there was nothing he could do
Report pa lapsy December 14, 2014 4:00 PM GMT
Read that 15.22 post Rewired, the undertone of racism is there. Of course the stewards will ask for an explanation,i don't care what you think of me rewired but that post was wrong on a few levels.
Report pa lapsy December 14, 2014 4:12 PM GMT
Do you have anything to add to that rewired or are ya just going to phuck off?
Report rewired December 14, 2014 6:09 PM GMT

It is you are or you're, not your, basic English.
My issue was the portrayal of Irish racing in the 15.22 post in the use of "then again it is Ireland".
Report steerforth December 14, 2014 8:34 PM GMT
"then again it is Ireland" is an observation which draws on a perception of the way the sport in Ireland is run. It may be ill informed, based on weak generalization and may even be considered ignorant, (then again it may not). What it absolutely is not, is racist.
To make an analogy, if someone commented on a questionable decision by FIFA and that drew the comment "then again it is FIFA" - would that be racist? Of course not. It's a comment based on a reputation which in turn is based on experience, whether or not justified. Making that comment shows you to be guilty of using  reactionary laziness to make an accusation of reactionary laziness.
As for Treacy, only he knows what happened. It cost me dearly - ad that's not speculation!
