Worked for a charity ( as a volunteer) and there were several young men there ( forced to work to receive their benefits, at least one child with the girl friend).... one giant **** break for them !



As someone born in the 50s we didn't have these problems with full employment !


And, people weren't rewarded for essentially breeding !



Politicians haven't dealt with unemployment for the last forty years.... now its the Eurozone/ World economies are in recession standard default excuses !

Too many young people these days have never been out of their comfort zones.
They just won't do that kind of work.

I know a guy now in his early 30's, he hasn't done a days work in his life, has a girlfriend and 2 kids and has sponged of the government all this time, he thinks its an achievement, I think its absolutely disgusting that someone who is able to work wont do so, there are plenty out there with varying disabilities that would be glad to be in their position and able to work, of course the problem isn't with them, its the ludicrous system we have here in the UK, i think people should be allowed benefit(we are talking about men/woman in their prime able to work) for say 3-6 months, if they havn't found work then their benefit should be stopped completely or enrolled into some kind of working programme doing work round local areas. It means they wont be given an easy ride and also not living on the streets, why should these parasites be living on taxpayers money, about time a political party actually done something about this.  Of course the governments answer to everything is to increase teh tax rate on high earners - why should they suffer at the expense of these low life cretins.....  What truly amazes me in todays world, you take a working man/woman with an average job, they work fulltime, they struggle to pay the rent/bills etc  have very little left from their full time pay THEN you get the unemployed, they all smoke, drink, some do drugs, all seem to drive, go on holidays and dont have a care in the world - shirley something is wrong there!!!!

No doubt some of to ssers on here are actually on JSA or ESA, because they certainly don't make money from betting that's for certain, and strange how they magically appear when a thread like this comes up, yes I'm on as well but at least I admit to being on the dole, unlike most on here who want us to believe they are hard working stand up pillars of the community.

I've said it before and I'll say it again... criticise the unemployed all you want, but you scrap the benefit system and it would cost the country more in tax as the increase in the prison numbers wh=would go up, robbery's, burglary's would go up etc, costing "you so called tax payers" even more money in said tax.

Someone in the Jobcentre today was having a doubt raised on her claim, applying for too few vacancies, she had a 2 year old kid with her, nice that, fu cking her like that right before Xmas, no remorse whatsoever, because they've been led to believe the jobless are to blame, question to them though is, what would you be doing if everyone was in work?, because none of them look like they can lift or pack or whatever, they sit behind a fu cking desk barking orders.

And as for the dog fat ugly cow nailing that poor mare, what a fu cking disgrace you are, called her "a bit lazy", yet she couldn't walk across the jobcentre without being out of breath, maybe some fu cking exercise and a diet might come in handy you fat little bi tch.

Very good post horseburger and in my opinion the sooner the job centres are closed down and the little hitlers who officiate in them put out to grass the better. These so called public service employees are without much doubt the dregs of the working class who get off bossing around people like the girl you describe.

there is no doubt that, in terms of GDP growth and tax receipts, a transfer of income from the wealthiest 10% to the bottom 25% would have a stimulatory effect as those people will spend every penny they get

this is a major reason why the so called 'deficit reduction' plan has failed abysmally, totally ignored the drag on growth caused by squeezing the poor
