That mistake he made early doors (3rd fence?) was so bad that I wouldn't have blamed the jockey for pulling him up on the spot.

i think this is karma for ruby walsh remember when he said he dont care if the punter loses all his money, now he has forgetton how to ride the horses

What did you expect? Been off the track a long time and made a terrible error on the first circuit. Agree with Barton Bank in the sense that I was a bit surprised that when Ruby looked round after the mistake he didn't pull it up and save him for another day, seems he thought everything was okay and that his chance of winning had gone but he could give him a school over the fences at a course he is likely to run at in April for the really big races.

the error aside it would have been hard pressed to beat the winner imo

given the absence the race was all ways going to be tough , walking through the fence made it impossible. ruby gave it time to recover but the damage was done
