23 now one is right 100% of the time  ...I will settle for 60%   of the time ...sober or not

you obviously haven't looked at the stats easygold ... stall 1 is one of the winningmost draws in 6f handicaps in recent years, in fact this year theres been 10 winners from 38 races for a huge level stakes profit at s.p.

Aren't a lot of them in smallish fields grendel which are completely different races as you have time to get off the rail. Today's 9 runner race is borderline , certainly wouldn't want draw 1 or draw 2 in big field races at 6f. Shows how stats can be misleading as the record of stall 1 in 9 runner 6f hcps since 2006 is 1 from 51.

... and in 10+ rnr handicaps it's 12 from 192 (14.4 expected) so no, it doesn't have a poor record in big field handicaps
