I was only thinking this myself today, I cannot remember a horse leading all the way home from the bend since the new surface. Also on a side note, the exact opposite thing is happening at meydan.

apologies chonaic you must have just beat my 2nd post

there were a few winners in the first few meets but in recent weeks i just see the pace not holding up in the straight seemingly very frequently.

think i need to look into it properly.

Do you have a memory span of only 3 days, Chonaic?  Three horses made all at the last meeting.  Two the meeting before that.
