another nice schooling intro. If a conditional jockey did that he would be stood down

He's won from positions like that a million times. But strange decision to run a horse that promising in a big field where fallers are always a possibility (eg the one in front falls and brings you down)

Walsh at his marvellous best, horse never put in the race at any stage until it was virtually over. Odds on shot too.....typical Walsh ride to be honest.

Ruby has a real distain for punters; he doesn't care if you have your cash on - the thought doesn't even register in his mind.

Look at the horse's FORM, lads.

It had only ever won BUMPERS in France - at a mile and a half - and just 1m 6f

Today - It was being asked to run over HURDLES and at a MILE further

With that in mind - he would probably be trying to be sure that it 'got the trip'.

However - Given the above evidence - If you could not LAY that at 1.5 - then you shouldn't be on Betfair.

That's great but you normally have 2 other triers maximum.

It was more competitive, in depth, and on paper - than many other Irish Maiden Hurdles.

Just look at the Ratings - Not as many 'no-hopers' as normal
