i consider a reasonable description of an average ride is where the best horse wins despite the less than able assistance of the jockey; invariably a poor ride ican be described as where the best horse doesn't win as a result of the ineptitude of the man (or woman) in the saddle

I think her position indicates that she was quite average in 2014 (We know she had some injuries but the strike rate etc help to show her ability in comparison to the other jockeys) She is also (at first glance) the highest woman on the list, so I think its reasonable to say that she is exceptional for a female jockey.
