I know that people don't read all the T&Cs, but surely that paragraph should count for all the races imo. Seems a bit of a cheap one not to payout on the 00:35 race.

does indeed, if they wanted to exclude the classic rather than list every race included they could have just said excludes the BC classic right at the top and avoided any complaints, just poor marketing and cust service all round

If Betfair are so good why are they not seeding the horse race markets on the exchange as the liquidity is at an all time low....

gets worse - by attempting to get this you have "outed" yourself as a shrewdie.

meaning you'll very shortly be informed you are no longer eligible for any sportsbook promotions.

...... and that is final

spot on , aberdonia .
by giving a special offer and then leaving out the biggest race of them all , betfair have shot themselves in the foot here , and deserve any and all bad publicity it gains despite their terms and condition being clear.
bad decision , betfair

Betfair and poor customer service - has this ever happened before.....
By:

When: 03 Nov 14 10:27
@homefortea - asked and yes they are - watch the Sportsbook and as soon as a race goes from SP to priced, refresh your view of the corresponding Exchange market - you'll see every horse seeded to 3k takeout.

caveat - if you're on the Classic website you may have to go to the ladder against the graph to see that money, as the first three boxes get cluttered up with £2 and £5 bets.  On the new website, just pull the bet view slider over to £100 or something sensible.

I would help seed them at them prices, old site 15 available and new site 10. Another one 7.2 available and they are seeding at 5.8 (if you move the slider to 100). If that is their way of sorting out the poor liquidity they may as well give it up.

It's "damned if they do, damned if they don't" isn't it? If they don't seed or don't seed competitive prices, backers complain they can't get a bet on early.

If they seed competitive prices, layers will compain they're stealing the bread from their mouths.

Personally I think seeding a big slab of money at relatively poor prices isn't a bad compromise - it at least gives the laying customer a price to squeeze inside.
