AUS site is back now, that might also fix the problems with getting logged out as well...
Have had the same trouble today when it says place bet but when I do it says not signed in when it shows I am. Then a pop up shows new member please log in details when I'm already logged in but unable to place a bet. I tried about 20 times and gave up and they better not say it was accepted as it wasn't. Really bad service. and system
Old Site - is NOT working/ Prices NOT Moving/Refreshing.
OK - IF - it does NOT keep Logging you OUT, though... every time that you TRY to place a bet. 
if you log out and switch off, switch on again go through yahoo to enter the betfair site it seem to clear all the problems.(well it worked for me)
