I quite often take a look at the results on Timeform/Betfair to see how low a horse went in running and how high the winners were matched at. However looking the result for the last at Epsom yesterday it says Aqua Ardens was matched at a high in running of 15 when I personally got matched for £2 at 30.0, as I backed the first three favs at that price being all held up horses in what was likely to be a scramble at the end. Do Timeform only show the highest price in running to a certain amount of money matched so that my £2 wouldn't register or do they get this wrong quite often and looking at these in running prices is pointless? I also laid the field in running @ £10 each for 1.4 and four got matched, all of which show up on the results correctly.

They used to - automatically - put up the Highest/Lowest Priced Matched - even if it was only to a small amount.... so, consequently, those Prices appeared on the Results quite quickly.
Nowadays - There appears to be some monitoring of the 'In-Running' Markets, with - as you say - a MINIMUM amount then applied. Thanks Onlooker, I suppose it makes sense not to show small amounts but do you know or would have a guess at the amount they want to show matched before counting it in the results? I would prefer them just to show the highest matched in running prices as that is what they are saying and it doesn't bother me waiting until the next day for this info, as long as I know what they are showing is right.

Thanks top2rated, £100 payouts only included. Doesn't help us £2 punters much up to 50/1 but at least I know now. Where is this info from? I just use the Timeform results page.

Makes sense really. You often get some really big odds matched for pence and you wouldn't want those showing up.

Final win and place Betfair Starting Prices for GB and Irish races are available for each day in the files here........

They are provided in comma-separated values (CSV) for each day (from around 06:30 the following day in my experience). NB - The files are created the day after the actual races took place, i.e. Yesterday's data in files created 'Sep 29, 2014'. This format can be read in most spreadsheet programs. The Betfair SPs are provided for each selection every day. Thanks again top2rated, that will be helpful. The data seems to be pretty random though, is it not sorted by race time? I have only opened the UK win market file for yesterday and it seems to be all over the place.

If you've opened the csv in a new spreadsheet just press Control and A to highlight everything.
