Wd winners. Mine never put in race with any thought of troubling the judge. Not just a poor ride,more like a complete non buzzer. Were I the owner I would kick the little **** on its back all over Gosforth Park. Then again, owner probably well aware of the intentions beforehand.
regarding thackeray, unbelievable tactics, would have had to have been frankel to win from where he put it. have no problem with holding a horse up if thats what it needs, but almost tailed off out the back in a moderate race run at a moderate pace (to my eyes), moving way too late. all seems a bit fishy to me, but there was a bit of money late on. will watch next time, bad luck chaps!
Hvr. I certainly think the stewards should have asked a question regarding what looked a very dubious if not a totally bent effort.
